All in a few days work..

I have been trying to control the number of drive bys-- well at least reduce them to one instead of two--during lunch and after work. It requires deep breaths, meditation, relaxation techniques, and anything else I can think of. I am somewhat disappointed that the roof wasn't put on today ---due to that darn house down the street that keeps taking all the worker-bees. Tomorrow I really do anticipate our roof being put on or you will see a picture of me with a nail gun and hard hat assembling it myself!

It took three days to go to --All Wrapped Up but no roof to cover...

  1. Look at it this way once the worker bees are done with the other house down the block they all will flock over to your house and doll it all up and make it pretty or shall I say purrrty! Your house will be a knockout believe me and all that wait will be worth it. Plus your house will be worked on during the weekend which is a nice thing no more mon thru fri it will be given attention to on weekends too!

  3. I so feel your pain!! In one week my house received NOTHING! They decided to start yet another house....not 1 but 2...this 2nd one didn't even break ground until 2 weeks ago and is now being framed before ours???? I am so angry with this process!! We still just have lonely old block for 3 weeks now :( I have no patience like you but in the end we will be LOVING our new Victoria falls <3

MOM: Girl!!! I would be on the phone with both my PM and Rep telling them how unhappy I am that 2 other houses are going up before yours. See what they say. Believe me, they have those survey's in mind!

  6. Oh my...if you are this crazy now, wait till it is all framed up and closed in where you can't see what is going on...and then come the locks on all the doors...that will drive you over the top...LOL!!! Have fun with it an enjoy the process. I am sure we will end up battling for worker bees once our building process starts. They have sold a whole bunch of lots and so far only 2 of them have started. In the end though, we will all have beautiful houses that we will all call HOME!!!
